Here at Elkes, our Security Officers are an integral part of our family as they are the first people our Visitors and Colleagues see and speak to.

Not only are you there to greet everyone with a smile, it's your job to maintain security, supervise and control access to the site and take action for all site emergencies.

Your day to day role will consist of the following:

• Booking in visitors and contractors
• Operating the weighbridge
• Recording deliveries
• Taking and redirecting calls
• Recording absences
• Fire alarm testing
• Recording Security related incidents
• Logging lost property
• Sorting and franking outgoing mail
• Issuing and supervision of company van
• Patrolling the site
• Actioning emergency procedures ie: fire, ammonia
• CCTV Monitoring

Hours operate on a four on four off shift pattern which includes nights.

Salary: £21,119.00 per year
