Job title: Scrum Master
Location: Can be majority remote, Bristol, Portsmouth, Farnborough or Malvern
About the role
QinetiQ are looking for a Scrum Master to join the Maritime Test, Evaluation, Training and Tactics team and lead a range of technical activities to integrate new and existing noise ranging systems at the Range facilities, as well as providing advice that will directly impact defence operations.
What will I be doing?
The Scrum Master will be working with one or more teams to:
Coach the team in self-management and cross-functional working.
Coach and mentor other employees and business leaders in supporting team self-organisation.
Remove impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress and protect them from distractions
Coach and mentor the team in other organisational and business activities that enhance self-organisation.
Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
Help the team establish practices that enhance quality, lowers technical debt and increases product value.
Work with one or more product owners to support and educate in Agile/Scrum best practices to refine and maintain product backlogs.
Advocate for agile initiatives and best practice across the programme
Define and report on sprint metrics.
What do I need?
You should have experience as a Scrum Master.
The Scrum Master should have experience with Agile methodologies.
