An exciting opportunity has arisen within our IT Service Desk Team in Folkstone for an IT Service Desk Manager position. This is a permanent posts for individuals with good level of education who wants a chance to experience working within a fast paced environment.
We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated and driven IT Service Desk Manager to join our busy and friendly ICT department.
The post holders will be responsible for day to day coordination of all the activities within the IT Service Desk with line lead responsibilities to the IT Service Desk Team Leaders, Analysts and Apprentices. You will be expected to runRemote Telephone Supportservice as well as a small amount of hands on support. All applicants must have the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage priorities effectively. Technical and Customer service skills are an extremely important factor to this role.
The posts are 37.5 hours per week.

This is a trustwide role you need to prepare to travel to any trust sites. Possessing a driving licence and your own means of transportation is essential , though the trust IT vehicles can be used subject to availability.
The post holder will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, testing and managing non-clinical information systems of the trust. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all end-user support queries, responsible for resolving issues by dealing directly with users, department managers and vendor support.
The post holder will act as an expert on the functionality and processes contained within the system along with the clinical services provided by the Trust.
The need to promote and maintain the highest levels of data quality will be a key responsibility for the post holder, challenging poor data capture and working practices where they exist.
