Overview:
We are a small FinTech company seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting staff with IT issues, triaging issues with transactions, and conducting basic debugging of technical issues. They should have a strong technical aptitude and be able to compile reports from source data to support the rest of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting staff with IT issues and ensuring smooth running of systems.
- Triaging issues with transactions and conducting basic debugging of technical issues.
- Compiling reports from source data to support the rest of the business.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Supporting the Finance team with month-end processes and ad-hoc tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical aptitude and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify, problem solve and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with incident and ticket systems such as Jira
- Familiarity of SQL and concepts around reporting and KPIs
Experience:
- 1 years of relevant experience in technical support such as desktop support
