We are seeking candidates studying either a Marketing or Business Studies degree to join us as a placement student and have the opportunity to take on responsibility in a specific role and deliver against business objectives working in either the dermatology, or OTC (over the counter) teams. You will support all activities relating to new product development, launch planning and development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
To support students with getting the most from their time with us, alongside your functional role, you will undertake a year-long structured programme, comprising of both business related and personal development opportunities. Students also work together to deliver a real life business project, providing opportunities for experiential development, feedback and exposure to departments and leaders from across the organisation.
Working in our redeveloped stunning canal side mill office in Slaithwaite, this is an excellent and very varied opportunity for a placement student to join us in a company that values an entrepreneurial spirit combined with agility. We are looking for self starters with a creative flair and analytical mindset; strong Excel skills are a must as you will be working with a lot of sales/commercial data! You will gain extensive experience in all aspects of the marketing mix and develop your commercial acumen and presentation skills as you assist the team to ensure key brand objectives and KPI’s are met. Acting as a key point of contact between the marketing department, suppliers, advertising/PR agencies and our sales teams, you will need to be confident communicating with a wide variety of audiences.
Flexibility regarding occasional travel is required as you will be involved in store visits for product launches/research work as well as working alongside our creative agencies where you’ll get to see how marketing ideas come to life through the whole production, photo/video shoot and product launch cycle.
