The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and produce desired results. This role will develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time and within budget and scope. This position will be responsible for interfacing with various departments and analyzing business needs to recommend and implement changes to current systems or processes, that would benefit the organization.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Project Management:
o Develop detailed project plans to track progress across all brands using the appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
o Coordinate internal and external resources for execution of projects.
o Work with department and interdepartmental functions to manage scope, cost, schedule, staffing vendors, and contractual deliverable.
o Monitor and report on project performance; this includes product development timelines such as tooling, manufacturing, or purchase of products according to timely release.
o Responsible for reporting and communicating metrics and KPIs as it relates to the project.
- Business Analyst:
o Collaborate with other departments to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions.
o Translate customer requirements into technical design with development team.
o Develop custom reporting using SQL and SSRS based on business requirements.
o Plan and facilitate end user documentation and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst is required.
- 4+ years of experience in a Project Management role is required.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems is required.
- Previous experience in development and maintaining work instructions and end-user manuals is required.
- Experience in the entire SDLC lifecycle is required.
- Experience in creating functional design documents is required.
Required Licenses
- PMP Certification preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365.
- Understanding of core systems such as ERP, WMS, and EDI.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Travel
- Occasional travel may be required.
