- Salary Range: $116,000 - $148,000 yearly (DOE)

Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, updating, and managing GK’s network and server infrastructure. This job will also entail managing 3rd party vendors to ensure GK’s computing standards are met and delivered services are congruent with contracted deliverables.

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
- Oversees the setup, configuration, and support of internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all roadmaps for systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Ensures systems are up to date and protected from external security threats.
- Manages 3rd party vendor(s) to ensure computer/network systems are monitored, backed-up, patched appropriately and disaster recovery systems are in place and adequately tested.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Provides documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure. Follows change control procedures and ensures all changes to systems are documented and approved.
- Manages ISP relationships, accounts, and new implementations.
- Performs on-site audits and documents WAN installations, camera installations and low-voltage cabling to ensure GK cabling, and installation standards are met.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Provides technical support and guidance to team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator similar role
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Ability to create scripts in Python, PowerShell, or other language
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven success in a senior IT role.
- Experience with or knowledge of shell scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus. 3-5 years’ experience in a professional environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Must be proficient in MS Server system administration.
- Must be proficient in MS Azure - systems configuration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Must be proficient in managing an MS O365 environment and have working knowledge of MS applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Team Phone/Voice Power Automate and BI.
- Must be proficient in designing and deploying GPO’s.
- Must understand Meraki network design, AD integration and enterprise management strategies and techniques.
- Must be familiar with multi-Factor authentication, SAML2 and Azure AD implementation.
- Must be familiar with VOIP phone solutions.
- Must be able to manage 3rd party vendors.
Certifications
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Meraki Network Certification is a plus.
Materials and Equipment
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials.
May also include the use of tools to fix and repair computer and network equipment.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasional lifting of IT equipment – up to 50 lbs. may be required.
Work may include travel to off-site communities to work on network and desktop infrastructure.
Working Conditions
Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, but may be performed periodically in construction areas with exposure to dust, noise and limited environmental conditioning. Work may include travel to off-site communities to work on network and desktop infrastructure.
