Production Operative - Days - Permanent - On the spot offers subject to Right to Work
Salary: £10.68 per hour, plus optional overtime of 1.5 to boost your salary!
Location: Normanton, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire
FREE TRANSPORT FROM LEEDS
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 06:30am – 2.30pm & 2:30pm, 10:30pm rotating

Forza Foods Ltd slices and packs cooked meat for ASDA. We have an annual turnover of £300m and employ 1,200 at our Normanton operation. In January 2016 we became a wholly owned subsidiary of IPL Ltd, who in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of ASDA.
We are looking for Food Production Operatives to join our ever expanding team, willing to learn and grow with the company
Candidates will need to be suited to working in a fast paced and chilled environment.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail to ensure all products meet our high standards. We offer immediate start with no experience needed as training will be provided.
Role purpose:
To be an important member of our large team of people packing sliced, cooked meats, ensuring key production procedures are followed to ensure a high levels of quality product and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities
· Understand and comply to the related SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures
· Producing the required product to the required standards
· Ability to work to high standards and specifications
· Ability and confidence to ensure any concerns and issues are elevated to a Line Leader / Production Shift Manager
· Comply at all times with food safety, quality and legality at all times
· Maintaining a clean working environment
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
· Must be hardworking, reliable and flexible
· Good level of manual dexterity
· Good level of attention to detail
· Ability to follow instructions
· Good literacy, numeracy skills
· A reliable, enthusiastic team player. Good communication skills and an open, honest approach
· Display a positive work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
Although previous experience from within the food industry would be advantageous it is not essential as you will be trained to undertake a variety of tasks within the operation.
