Dunsters Farm Foodservice is an award-winning, independent food wholesaler with depots in Bury and Oswestry. Technology is central to our operation, and we are now looking to grow our team by recruiting our first ever Group IT Manager to oversee the day to day management of our IT function.

What will you be doing?

  • Looking after our technology infrastructure
  • Managing third party IT supplier relationships
  • Ensuring effective cyber security and disaster recovery
  • Effective management of our IT support desk
  • Overseeing and managing API integrations
  • Providing remote support to end users
  • People Management of a small IT team based in Bury
  • Be an active member of our Senior Management Team.

When will I work?

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

What will I get paid?

£35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

What kind of person are we looking for?

What skills and experience do we expect?

  • Minimum, ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Ability to communicate and explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including current technologies.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a Support/Service environment.
