We are looking for an Intern to join our Planning, Energy and Infrastructure Team in Edinburgh.

JLL a professional property services and investment management firm specialising in real estate and energy solutions. We help organisations around the world achieve their ambitions in owning, occupying and investing in real estate and pursuing their low carbon ambitions.
The Planning Team is a vital part of the overall JLL offer, providing a bridge between our agency and consultancy teams. We work on some of the largest, most complex and high profile development and regeneration projects in Scotland for both public and private sector clients. We also have a specialised and unique renewable energy offering across the UK, supporting our clients in the identification and implementation of large-scale projects across a range of technologies.
Role
This is a rare opportunity to join the Planning, Energy and Infrastructure Team, based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role involves assisting the wider Planning team on the full development cycle, from opportunity identification through the coordination and implementation of planning applications,
What this job involves
The job is multi-faceted and covers the full spectrum of Planning and Energy related services. This includes:
Advising on development options, structures, and different routes to market.
Development advice, including feasibility and due diligence studies.
Providing policy and legislation research and associated market strategies.
Working with multi-disciplinary teams to advise on complex planning led developments.
Coordinating planning applications and securing consents.

Ideally, an accredited degree in Town Planning, Surveying, or Renewable Energy.
