We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to implement and oversee strong, reliable and scalable information technology systems between several dealerships and offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the network infrastructure, ensuring IT security, implementing disaster recovery procedures, managing assets, onboarding new acquisitions, staging and supporting users, providing user education, budgeting and managing IT projects, and overseeing phone systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN and Wi-Fi networks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems by implementing and maintaining IT security protocols and procedures based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's phone systems to ensure reliable communication channels.
• Manage the company's IT assets, including hardware, software, and other equipment, and ensure they are properly maintained and replaced as needed.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or system failure.
• Assist in onboarding new dealership acquisitions to ensure seamless integration with the company's IT systems.
• Manage user staging and support, ensuring that employees have the necessary hardware, software, and other tools to perform their job functions.
• Develop and implement user education programs to help employees better understand and use IT systems.
• Create and manage IT budgets, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary constraints and that appropriate resources are allocated for various IT projects.
• Plan, manage, and oversee various IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology implementations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of managing network infrastructure, IT security, disaster recovery, asset management, and user support.
• Post-secondary education in computer science or other IT-related subject
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract
• Strong technical skills, including experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, network infrastructure, IT security protocols, and phone systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Experience in the acquisition and integration of new businesses into existing IT systems.

Other Important Information:

• Regular Dealership visits will be required. You must be willing and comfortable driving between New Minas and Yarmouth
• Hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Required to work the occasional evening and weekend for special projects, systems maintenance, or for emergencies.
