Workplace Options have an exciting opportunity for a qualified IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Ealing, London. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of home and office working days. The IT Helpdesk Technician interacts with employees of Workplace Options globally to resolve their technical issues related to devices, connectivity and applications.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyzing, installing and configuring Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Network performance, troubleshooting problems and maintaining systems.
  • Building and deploying system images using tools like WDS.
  • Responding to and resolving helpdesk requests for phone and network systems and applications.
  • Purchasing software, hardware, phone and other IT supplies.
  • Inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and performing necessary maintenance to support network and phone system availability.
  • Reporting the status of tickets, actions and other work-related tasks to senior management in a very timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving voice quality issues.
  • Moving IT equipment as per need.
  • Working as a backup of other team members if required. And work as per on-call rotation.
