IT Helpdesk Support
We are looking to recruit an IT Helpdesk Support colleague to join our Head Office IT Team on a Full-Time basis to mainly cover our IT Helpdesk Support function.
Hours of work
Generally, Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm with 45 minutes unpaid for lunch (36.25 hours per week). However, a degree of flexibility will be required towards working hours to meet the needs of the IT Department and wider business.
Job summary
Working as part of our IT Department the post holder will have the responsibility of providing end to end IT Helpdesk support, analysing calls for assistance, providing support and query resolution while using various in-house systems to provide a meaningful response. The role will be wide and varied in order to support the IT department meeting deadlines and requests for assistance or other information.
Person Profile
The successful applicant will have good results at higher grades and also gained relevant IT qualifications from further education.
Previous experience of working in an IT Department, especially on an IT Helpdesk, would be an advantage but in any event training will be given to the successful applicant.
Candidates must work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and be competent in, the use and understanding of, computerised systems.
Applicants must be able to prove they can build exceptional customer/supplier/stakeholder relations, be well presented and show a positive desire to make a contribution to the IT Department.
