AXA Partners are currently looking for an IT Governance Support Officer to join our IT team based in Redhill. The IT team provide IT support as a shared service to AXA Travel Insurance and AXA Assistance UK. The two companies provide a range of Medical, Vehicle, Property, Lifestyle and Health Assistance and Travel Claims services to corporate clients. You’ll be accountable for IT Service Operations in the UK and Ireland geographies and for the execution of processes and procedures, within the IT Systems & Maintenance team, to ensure IT services remain in high availability and in line with AXA compliance and security standards
The role of IT Governance Support Officer will be to support the business in all aspects of governance and control. The role is hybrid based, partially in our Redhill office, covering Redhill and Athlone sites.
This role attracts a base salary of up to £30,000 + bonus and benefits and can be offered an a part time basis with flexible working hours for the right candidate.
Individual responsibilities/tasks/ Key Result areas
- Carry out Internal Control Tasks such as access review and inventory
- Track the status of Internal Control Tasks completed by other members of the wider IT team
- Assist the IT Manager in representing the IT team in client and internal Audits
- Monitor ITSCM activity & progress
- Carry out tasks relating to incident management, change management and problem-management using the Service Now ticketing system
- Provide administration of asset, supplier, and risk management
- Adherence and adoption of documented procedures
- Ensuring documentation for processes are maintained and reviewed
The role will be positioned in the IT Support department consisting of the below teams:
o IT Service Desk
o Support & Maintenance Team
o Solutions Delivery team
Your Profile
Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding and capability to analyse business needs
- Able to produce accurate documentation to satisfy service governance
- Knowledge of general IT service requirements including risk, change, and problem management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language)
Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience
- ITIL or CompTIA qualification is desirable but not mandatory
