Our client, a leading business in the IT sector is seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working as part of the experienced team of Engineers, this is the ideal role for a Junior IT Engineer to join a thriving business as part of their Help Desk team, providing a high level of technical support to their extensive list of clients.
This is the ideal role for an IT enthusiast who is looking to transfer their skills / hobbies into full-time, commercial position where you will gain a huge amount of experience and thorough training in the role.
Due to the location of the role candidates will be required to have access to their own vehicle and a full UK driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for an extensive list of clients, providing a high level of customer service and technical support at all times
- Work through a range of 1st Line support tickets and queries from clients
- Work as part of a team to uphold standards and meet SLAs
- Work on both day to day technical support and project work
Key Experience:
- An interest or previous experience in an IT-related role
- Show a keen interest and passion in IT outside of work in your own spare time
- Previous experience in a customer service-related role whereby you are used to liaising with customers and clients both over the phone and face to face
- Any IT-related courses or qualifications would be an advantage
