Robust Network Solutions is hiring a Senior Windows System / Network Administrator in San Mateo, CA.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Windows System / Network Administrator with broad technology expertise and MSP exposure. This position requires managing and supporting small to mid-sized business clients. You will be part of the go to team for handling escalated technical issues large and small. You will help with architecting solutions and performing project work. Previous consulting experience is a big plus.

Robust Networks is a premier IT services and consulting firm that specializes in providing proactive services to many professional firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an additional presence in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical lead with broad expertise including enterprise, secure, and compliance sensitive environments
• Develop and research architectural standards for virtualization, network, technology roadmaps that will add significant value to our clients
• Build, configure, test, and maintain technology solutions including LAN/WAN, servers, storage, virtualization, switches, routers, and cloud integrations
• Administer hosted and cloud solutions and utilize remote monitoring and management system
• Support high availability/failover, remote access, and disaster recovery/backup solutions
• Assist in escalation of issues and mentor junior engineers
• Develop system documentation using strong technical writing and technical drawing skills
• Provide after-hours support in the event of failures and emergencies
• Pre-sales support in determining equipment purchases, upgrade paths, and assisting with yearly budgets with regards to multiple hardware and software needs

Job Qualifications:

• Windows Server 2012-2022
• TCP/IP networking
• Virtualization concepts, especially VMware
• Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Remote Monitoring and Management tools
• Two-Factor Authentication and SSO
• Office 365, Intermedia, G-Suite, AWS, Azure
• File sharing solutions (Box, ShareFile, ShareSync, DropBox)
• Mobile Device Management
• Experience with security and compliance best practices, esp. SOC/HIPAA
• Microsoft, Citrix, SonicWALL, Cisco, VMWare certifications are a plus
