How you'll make a difference
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Integration and Management, you will be part of a new and exciting function within CIO, which will provide the link between business delivery and the technical solutions which underpin the Technical Integration of Payment and Digital Services. You will be responsible for delivering second level support (infrastructure and application) for Digital services and maintaining those infrastructure services and components. You will make a difference in your role by ensuring technology and business operations collaboration reflects the business rhythm and technology readiness.
What you'll bring
- Experience of Digital second level support, covering both infrastructure and application support.
- Ability to monitor or measure infrastructure load, performance, and security events.
- The capability to follow agreed procedures to identify operational issues and contribute to their resolution
- Ability to work to and continually improve technical procedures including backup/restore, using supplied infrastructure tools and scripts.
- Experience of carrying out agreed applications and systems software maintenance tasks, also automating routine system administration tasks to specifications using standard tools and basic scripting.
- Experience using application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
