Job description
Duties:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and VPN connections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve IT-related issues
- Utilize ticketing systems such as Jira and ServiceNow to track and prioritize support requests
- Assist with the deployment of software updates and patches
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and updates
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with IT service management tools such as Remedy or ServiceNow
- Experience with firewall configuration and VPN setup
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Note: Experience with Mac OS is a plus but not required.
