SALARY - £29,280(£14.44 PER HOUR)
HOURS - 39 HOURS PER WEEK (30-MINUTE DAILY UNPAID BREAK PER DAY)
9AM – 5:30PM
LOCATION - ROOM 16A, THE KOCO BUILDING, THE ARCHES, SPON END, COVENTRY, CV1 3JQ

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Coventry, the Business Analyst will be responsible for utilising software and business analysis tools, modelling techniques and using feasibility requirement studies to produce business and system requirement specifications for IT development teams, as well as reporting and resolving suspected non-compliance software issues. We are looking for a candidate to provide advice on the effective utilisation of IT and design IT systems in order to meet the business objectives or to enhance the business effectiveness of the organisation. The ideal candidate will remotely manage external business projects and provide market advice and analysis.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS OF THIS JOB:
Entrants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology,
Business, Computer Systems or related field. If you possess a variety of relevant professional skills such as, attention to detail, critical thinking, data analysis, project management, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving, in addition to your qualification.

Support sector. Despite its incorporation in the UK 2 years ago, Withcent only started trading as recent as 9 months ago as previously we were a dormant company. Withcent UK Ltd was established to meet the growing demand for overseas University Education, including the UK. It is a body set up primarily in response to the growing need for prompt, efficient and reliable professional advisory services for foreign students, parents and sponsors wishing to study in the UK and other countries abroad.

Ideally, the candidate will be able to build relationships with African further education aspirants and their parent or sponsors, with the added benefit stemming from being multi-lingual and able to speak to same languages as the African-based sponsors in order to effectively market our services, influence the target.
This role provides an opportunity for growth as the business grows because pioneer candidates will eventually provide training and mentorship to UK-based workers in better understanding the African market, maximising collaboration and strengthening the relationships with the African market whilst effectively generating business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with external and internal customers.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to gather business requirements, using a range of methodologies.
- Works closely with clients to implement new tailored systems.
- Work with the IT team to identify changes that are required to current IT systems and assess the potential impact on business processes, whilst always ensuring that company interests are observed by relevant internal and external parties.
- Utilise appropriate toolsets, modelling techniques etc. in performing structured analysis and supporting documentation for the purposes of system improvement / new system design ensuring quality standards are adhered to.
- Complete and document cost benefits analysis to ensure any changes are fit for purpose.
- Contribute to system change requests and change control data, produce and present training documentation and internal system operating guides as required.
- Manage scope / change requests through the project lifecycle.
- Utilise software and business analysis tools.
- Be responsible for taking a continuous improvement approach and seeking to maximize efficiency through business process review.
- Actively seek to understand the company strategy and the impact this may have on future business requirements / objectives and to translate these into system and or customer service improvement opportunities.
- Be responsible for keeping abreast of industry and business change, maintaining
‘expert’ industry knowledge status.
- Use feasibility requirement studies to produce systems requirement and to-be design specifications for IT Development.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all requirements and business processes are mapped correctly for each change accepted.
- Produce a variety of outputs such as Business Requirement Specifications and
System Requirement Specifications.
- Report and resolving suspected non-compliance software issues.
- Assess feasibility of commercial tenders and their impact on the business, represent company at Industry Regulator Forums and Industry Expert Groups, and maintain
regular contact with external customers and various internal sections of the company.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Able to provide input to system change requests and change control data including the provision of operating documentation.
- 6 months work experience as IT Business Analyst or related role. Portfolio demonstrating skills and acumen in related project management will be positively considered.
- Previous experience of liaising with third party interfaces and performing functional, system interfacing and business testing
- Our UK-based staff will have a better understanding of the African market and education system in order to attract the African market.

- Ideally, the candidate will be able to proficiently analyse data relating to African further education aspirants and their parent or sponsors to assist the business in effectively marketing its services to the target market.
- IT business analysis experience, with a good understanding of IT-driven change.
- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment, with exposure to a number of analysis methodologies.
- Excellent verbal, numerical and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude to work.
- Ability to operate as a team player, build positive rapport at all levels and deliver results under pressure.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- English Language proficiency or evidence of B1 Level English (equivalent required for skilled worker visa applicants)
- ID / Passport
- Right to work in the UK/visa
- Scrum and Prince 2 experience will be advantageous.
- A degree is required with a minimum of 2.2 requirement in Business, Management, and IT.
