The Student Advice Centre serves as a hub for customer enquiries. The Student Services Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service in an advisory capacity.
The post holder will be involved in the Clearing admissions cycle and be expected to work alongside the Student Advice team answering queries in person and by telephone, and email.
They will receive in-house training on College systems and procedures and will be expected to be flexible and support other teams across Registry Services if needed.
We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Student Services Assistants to be part of the Student Advice team.
The information and administrative support for customers that the Student Advice service provides is extensive; it is the initial point of contact for all prospective and current students in connection with their study and provides a gateway to student support at Birkbeck.
The days worked will be based on operational need and may include Saturdays.
Remuneration:
Grade 3 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £25,923 rising to £28,728 per annum
The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
