Job Description:
As an IT Business Analyst at Great British Marketplace Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their requirements, analyze processes, and recommend effective IT solutions to drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for IT projects.
Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose optimized solutions.
Solution Design: Collaborate with the IT team to design and document system specifications, data models, and workflows that align with business goals.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT efforts, ensuring that the final IT solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly.
Data Analysis: Analyze data and generate insights to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and system design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
