With ever increasing competition to attract the best students, it is vital that our admissions team delivers a fair, transparent and responsive customer-focused service. We are looking for an enthusiastic Admissions practitioner to join our centralised UK Admissions team, based within the Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions Service.
The busy and varied role of the Admissions Officer involves the maintenance of processing guides and reference material, producing and delivering training, management of course interviews and data quality and day to day support of the admissions team, ensuring a high quality and responsive service is provided as all times. You will be involved in process reviews and system developments to support a continuous improvement approach to the applicant journey as well as across the Admissions team.
In addition to knowledge of HE Admissions and the challenges the sector faces in terms of recruitment, you will possess:
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and the ability to build effective relationships to work collaboratively with colleagues across the institution
- Ability to work confidently on own initiative and to work as part of a high performing team
