IT Analyst (Placement Student)

Mission:

An opportunity to learn various aspects of the Schneider IT department by spending 12 months rotating between different teams within the department. Working in the Employee Experience team, on-site support team, and with the team of Business Analysts.

Key responsibilities:

Be part of the Employee Experience team learning the application lifecycle by completing certification of new applications following the Schneider guidelines on GDPR, cyber security, SSO (Single Sign on)
Support the decommissioning of old applications, ensuring data is store securely and the applications are removed from servers
Work with the On-site support team, to provide level 2 support delivering hardware break and fix support to end users

Provide Hand & Eyes support for technical requests on infrastructure equipment, under the control of the remote administration team
Ownership of local IT equipment, returning of stock and purchasing of new equipment

Develop business analyst skills to define our end users requirements into a functional requirements document.

Skills and attributes:

Overall technical understanding of all IT platforms and services (e.g., networking, hardware, web development, app development, cloud computing, etc.)
End User mindset oriented
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent relationship skills
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Education

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English or Equivalent
3 A Levels or Equivalent
Studying towards an IT Degree
