IT Analyst (Placement Student)
Mission:
An opportunity to learn various aspects of the Schneider IT department by spending 12 months rotating between different teams within the department. Working in the Employee Experience team, on-site support team, and with the team of Business Analysts.
Key responsibilities:
- Be part of the Employee Experience team learning the application lifecycle by completing certification of new applications following the Schneider guidelines on GDPR, cyber security, SSO (Single Sign on)
- Support the decommissioning of old applications, ensuring data is store securely and the applications are removed from servers
- Work with the On-site support team, to provide level 2 support delivering hardware break and fix support to end users
- Provide Hand & Eyes support for technical requests on infrastructure equipment, under the control of the remote administration team
- Ownership of local IT equipment, returning of stock and purchasing of new equipment
- Develop business analyst skills to define our end users requirements into a functional requirements document.
Skills and attributes:
- Overall technical understanding of all IT platforms and services (e.g., networking, hardware, web development, app development, cloud computing, etc.)
- End User mindset oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent relationship skills
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Education
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English or Equivalent
- 3 A Levels or Equivalent
- Studying towards an IT Degree
