About the role
We are looking for an Senior IT Administrator to work within the existing IT Operations team to provide support to over 600 users. The successful candidate will work alongside the IT Managers and IT Administrators to fully support strategic objectives focused on:
- Undertaking various IT Infrastructure and IT Operational activities for the IT Operations Manager to include (but not limited to)
- Improve and support the existing Network Infrastructure.
- Improve and support the existing Active Directory Environment.
- Improve, support and monitor the existing Server Environment, including working alongside existing 3rd party support companies.
- Administer the tools and technologies as required to support the needs of the business and maintaining documentation.
- Work alongside existing 3rd parties to maintain.
- Provide support to the IT Operations Manager with software updates and patch management tasks ensuring compliance.
- The successful candidate will also work on other Projects and will work closely liaising with 3rd party support to resolve end-user requests relating to IT Infrastructure and IT Operational services.
The right person will be required to be hands-on with wide range of IT operational support tasks.
- Have strong Support experience within a Microsoft Environment including Office365 /Azure.
- Proven working experience in supporting IT Infrastructure, Server Hardware and Software.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration
- Windows Operating Systems – Server 2016 and above
- HPE and Dell Server hardware.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP and Terminal Services
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN/WIFI/TCP/IP and network hardware
- Experience of producing reports, analytics to support periodic IT management reports schedule
