Job description
To provide a proactive and dynamic full end to end support service for the entire IT department. Responsible for operating and maintaining the IT budget and providing a reliable and consistent view of departmental status at all times.
Responsible for first line support for all IT budget processing queries, implementation of IT financial processes including overseeing both Capex & Opex budgets. Support the technology demand (ITIA) process to collaborating with Product Owners, and other business/IT stakeholders, on new change requests.
Job Description:
- Work with the Finance team to contribute to month end, year end and quarterly budgeting processes
- Monitor ad-hoc budget requests from IT and present to the IT Director for review, recording all unbudgeted spend
- Maintain and accurate record of IT resources, alongside payroll capitalisation including IT Contractors
- Provide a first point of contact for the Product Owners to support on new change requests using the ITIA ways of working model
- Proactively resolve day-to-day issues or queries with Supplier invoicing, budgets, ITIA and Supplier and Licencing Management
- Manage the IT Tray, liaise with Finance, Stakeholders, Suppliers and Contractors to resolve queries and ensure efficient invoice processing
- Display a good working knowledge of the Proactis System to Support Stakeholders/PMs managing all aspects of Purchase Ordering
- Assist with the on-boarding of new Suppliers
- Effectively manage all Supplier and Licencing within IT, review in advance working closely with Procurement and Stakeholders
- Manage and Log Contractor Time records ensuring accuracy and timely completion

Person Specification:
- A good communicator, naturally curious with a keen eye for detail and strong documentation skills

- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced in prioritising activities to support operational requirements
- Resourceful, with the ability to retrieve and organise information from a variety of sources
- Experienced in managing Budget, Resources and Staff
- Self-motivated, pro-active with a can-do attitude determined to succeed in own and team goals. Self-confident to be able to report at all levels of business
- Demonstrable enthusiasm and passion for delivering service
