Home Instead are one of the UK's leading providers of care assistants and support workers for the elderly with over 249+ offices nationwide. We have a highly successful team of care professionals who visit our clients in their own homes, offering support and assistance where needed.
We are now looking for people who reside in Hatfield & Welwyn Garden locations or thereabouts, (also Potters Bar & Borehamwood locations) to join our wonderful team of Healthcare Support Workers & Care Assistants.
We are recruiting new people who are seeking a career in Adult Care, to work in the community with people in their own homes, and who feel they have the right qualities to become one of our very special and supportive team members.
We do require that you have a car - this is essential to enable you to travel between clients each day. We also require you to be able to work your standard hours on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends.
We cannot offer sponsorship to overseas candidates at this time. The role requires you to be resident in the UK and with the right to work.

We work with people in their own homes and this takes a very special type of staff member, we need people who are decisive, have an abundance of common sense, are reliable, and enjoy supporting and assisting people in making their own decisions.
We offer our clients a combination of care which includes assisting with personal care, light housework duties and companionship and the services we provide to each client depends on their own personal needs, so we do different things with different people, meaning no two days are ever the same.
Our staff working a 30-hour working week are presently being paid £17,160 per annum and this will increase in April 2023. If you work fewer hours then the rate is averaging £13.00 per hour and again this will increase in April 2023.
We are currently looking to introduce some exciting new ways we pay our staff and these will be disclosed shortly but in the meanwhile we are also offering:
