About the Job: We are currently seeking an IT Administrator for our manufacturing facility located in London, ON. This position will support the Assistant Manager, IT to ensure all IT needs are met across at all of our locations across Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with technical support software and hardware in a timely manner.
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 operating systems
- Configuration (DHCP, DNS, AD) Policy Definition and Application
- Experience in SAP system, Windows Server, Network, Cyber Security
- Maintain MS 365, Azure, SAP/ERP, Veeam, VMWare, firewalls, Access Point, security system, etc. to technical support.
- Experience with network security devices and support firewalls, managed switches, routers, VPN, VLAN, Virtual Servers, etc.
- Respond to user issues via phone, email and remote tools in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all the company’s technical needs are being met.
- Establish good relationships with all departments and users.
- Manage and conduct daily backups and related operations.
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Repair/replace/configure/upgrade/patch user systems to enable compatible software on all computing devices.
- Management of the IT hardware and software inventory along with licensing information.
- Ensure and monitor the cyber security system and facilitate cyber security training to ensure security at the user level.
- Other duties as required by the Company.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Computer Systems.
- Excellent written and verbal skills communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice.
- Available to work overtime as required.
- Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented and patient.
- Familiar with a Windows OS, MS 365, SAP/ERP, Cyber security, and Network knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot various digital devices, computer servers, software, smart phone, network, AP, Firewall, DNS, etc
- Excellent time management skills.
- Highly organized and Service oriented.
- Excellent solving problem skills.
- Detail oriented.
Working Conditions:
· This position may require extended work hours.
· This position may require work in hot and cold temperatures and exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, noise.
