Care Assistant Day shift Porthcawl, Wales
Job description
Avaliable Job Today We are currently recruiting for day care assistant positions. The shift pattern is 7 hour shifts and some may be double shifts of 14 hours. The weekly total will be 35 hrs. We welcome applications from both men and women.
Preferably you will have a least a QCF/NVQ 2 in care (or working toward it) - but this is not essential, you will be provided with the opportunity to receive on the job training in order to gain this level. Your passion and attitude towards providing care for people is as important to us as the qualification. We ask that you treat people with care, compassion, dignity and respect; basically, as you would your own family, you must be willing to work as per the homes rota. The position will be predominantly days but this may change depending on the needs of the business. If you are this individual we would love to hear from you.
The position is subject to satisfactory references and a current DBS check at the appropriate level. We can pay for this upfront and recoup the cost through your first pay.
