Why are we hiring a IS Systems Administrator?
Due to our extensive company growth, we are hiring for an IS Systems Administrator! This role is a role like no other where you will find that no two days are the same, it also comes with a high amount of autonomy.
As the IS Systems Administrator you will be responsible for providing support to internal customers and following requests through to resolution. As part of your day-to-day role you are also responsible for running IS Projects as assigned by the IS Manager who this role will report into.

We have over fifteen products in our portfolio, used by over 700 pharmaceutical clients (including all the top 20!)

What are you responsible for?
- Responding to requests for assistance from internal users ensuring problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Experience working in a busy helpdesk environment, managing multiple projects at once.
- Organising external support and sourcing spare parts to ensure timely resolutions.
- Responsibility for larger and more complex infrastructure projects working independently and with other team members to meet project goals and timelines.
- Responsibility for either geographic or entire functional aspects of our infrastructure.
- Supervision of other team members.
- Managing the sever room and ensuring log is kept of equipment, ordering spares when needed.
- Travel to other local UK Instem offices as and when required
- Adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally and diligently
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- In-depth knowledge of specialist operating systems, packages and services.
- Familiarity with relevant technical information resources.
- Relevant professional qualifications/certifications, MS Qualification (Not essential)
- Knowledge of MS Teams, SharePoint, exchange, office 365.
