We are looking for innovative, highly motivated radiographer/s willing to make a contribution to the clinical workload in the radiology department at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.
The radiographer/s must have a keen interest in paediatric radiography and show a particular aptitude for working with children. The radiographer/s must be able to independently justify and perform paediatric and neo-natal radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental guidelines, policies and protocols, whilst providing a high level of patient care and produce good quality radiographs in accordance with ALARA. To comply with all the associated legal and statutory regulations governing the care and protection of children.
An analytical and enquiring approach to work as well as effective planning and organisational skills are required. This post should appeal to experienced radiographer/s who wish to develop their expertise in a wide range of specialties.
This vacancy of 44 hours per month (11 hours per week) includes a variety of weekday, weekend duties and on-call duties.
The hours could be divided into 1 or more posts, to accommodate the pattern of the existing vacant hours.
