Who are we looking for?

Our Social Media & Content Associate will own and implement our social media strategy and create and edit engaging video content for our internal teams. This is a 4 days a week role.

This is a fast-paced, hands on role, initially reporting to and working closely with our CMO. You'll be a fantastic and thoughtful storyteller, living and breathing social and branded content, with a proven record in growing a social following and increasing engagement across Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Linkedin and also on recruitment platforms such as Glassdoor.

You’ll also be a dab hand at creating slick video content on a quick turnaround, and will love to write copy that embodies our brand voice.

What will you be doing day to day?

  • Lead a data-driven social media content strategy and implementation across all our social channels
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities, working with our creative team to create, schedule and publish a rich mix of high-performing content across our social (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn)
  • Identify new ways to grow our audience, both through strategy & analysis of our performance.
  • React to trends, news and conversations which are relevant to our audience of young families and early years educators
  • Work with our brand, education, food & property teams to ensure a constant flow of engaging owned content
  • Identify, build and nurture relationships with potential partners
  • Monitor and report on the performance of social channels and brand engagement using relevant analytical tools
  • Respond to social media comments and follow up with customers
  • Work in partnership with the People team & marketing teams to build a content strategy around our new Employer Brand Proposition
  • Film and edit engaging video content to help our team drive better engagement with our training platform and policies.

What will you need to bring with you?

  • Good experience in social media account management and strategy, preferably in a fast-paced B2C start-up environment
  • Previous experience writing creative and engaging content
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good design and video editing skills - be proficient in photoshop image editing tools and also video editing software for content creation
  • Demonstrable experience of having filmed, produced and edited video content
  • Data driven with demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge (Hootsuite, Sprout social, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) and confidence in analysing data
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive, you love social media, writing and communication
