What you’ll be doing
Your Main Focus in the role of Investment Analyst will be initially on Business Performance, while gaining exposure to financial modelling and investment appraisals, through on the job training. Day to day you’ll be involved in the analysis and monitoring of business targets, to identify the main risks on meeting projections. You will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams, spread across different Renewable departments both in the UK and Spain, with a significant level of interaction and coordination across the wider business required to ensure successful delivery of the team objectives.


You’ll also be tracking key financial indicators (IRR & NPV), to support the maintenance of valuation models for all our operating assets and supporting the preparation of documentation for senior management in relation to roadshows, meetings with analysts, rating agencies or government bodies. You’ll be working within a team of 6 colleagues as well as collaborating with our global teams, for the purpose of benchmarking and participating in projects that the Global Investment Office lead on.


What you’ll bring

We would love for you to be highly numerate and educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering, you’ll have an excellent excel modelling skills and be articulate, with the ability to communicate key messages clearly and effectively to Senior Management. You should also have experience of working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Some knowledge and experience of valuation theory and techniques is preferable, although this is not essential.
