SolidTek Limited - Production Packing Operator Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate must have:1-2 years’ experience ideally in production/manufacturing rolesThe role will require an individual who can work unsupervised for long periods. They must be highly organised and can prioritise workload and organise the warehouse on a daily/weekly basis.Job DescriptionPacking of chemical products on production lineMaintain a high level of housekeeping and manage waste effectively including correct disposal; using packing materials efficiently to reduce waste and costs.Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse as part of the daily routine.Co-ordination of goods in and goods out of warehouse.Use of warehouse systems and processes relating to packaging, moving and receiving stock within the warehouse, facilitate the safe handling of goods and chemicals.Use of IT applications such as Microsoft Office to process work orders and other relevant technology and systems to ensure the safe and efficient processing of goods.Effective and professional communication with colleagues at all times.Delivering excellent customer service to customers and colleagues, including identifying needs and responding appropriately in line with situation and organisational style/culture.Constant adherence to Health & Safety regulations.Providing updates/reporting any issues or concerns to the Operations Director.Perform additional duties as directed as and when required.Other informationRole is Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with 1 hour for lunchOptional overtime available - evenings and weekends subject to production requirements28 days holiday per annum including bank holidaysAuto-enrolment in company pension schemeFull training including recognised courses such as IOSH & First AidFree parking.Job Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: From £11.00 per hourBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeAbility to commute/relocate:Liverpool, L33 7YN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
