Based in Livingston, NHS Scotland Counter Fraud Services (CFS) has the remit to protect NHS Scotland from fraud and other financial crime. In achieving this, CFS provides a comprehensive, integrated and professional service to NHS Scotland by proactively identifying and undertaking investigations of suspected fraud
The Post:
We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our counter fraud team as a Investigation Support Officer. In our Investigation Team you will be responsible for supporting criminal investigations into financial crimes against the NHS in Scotland.
The Candidate:
With excellent communication and analytical skills, you will foster good working relationships with a range of professional disciplines within and out with the NHS. Ideally, you will possess or be working towards a qualification in countering fraud.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
Location and Working Pattern:
Bain Square, Livingston. Relocating to Eurocentral, near Holytown, Lanarkshire.
Currently hybrid working.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
