Job Duties
- Serve as Team Leader, expert level advisor and liaison for Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) program
- Oversee mitigation training, outreach, and technical assistance
- Track Performance Management metrics
- Assist Branch Chief and Division Director as they coordinate HMA program efforts with state partners
- Ensure timeliness/accuracy of quarterly progress reports and audits, and other reports
Specialized Experience/Job Requirements:
- Developing and preparing policies and plans, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Providing technical guidance to internal and external customers on grants projects or services.
- Analyzing data to provide evaluations or reports to leadership.

Emergency Assignment:
Every FEMA employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites. All positions are expected to be on call around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee’s official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.

Pay: From $104,088.00 per year
