You will learn from experts in their field and experience a fantastic culture, all whilst developing your brand and gaining vital skills that will pave the way to a fantastic career.

This internship is within our Personal Lines business supporting our online trading managers in driving up conversions for our insurance products. The focus will be on the day to day running of our websites, ensuring we meet weekly sales targets and provide an excellent customer experience.

Role Requirements

You will gain vast insight into our culture and our business and align that insight with your career ambitions. Successful completion of the summer internship could lead to you being offered a place on our Bright Futures graduate programme after Graduation.

Being a part of RSA means being part of an inclusive, collaborative, and diverse community that allows people to feel and be their best. Joining us means being part of a company committed to transparency in the way we work. We use responsible business practices that not only span our investments, choice of suppliers and environmental impact, but how we engage with customers and employees.

  • Work with delivery teams to ensure standards are met in terms of quality and consistency
  • Support trading rhythm with the ability to switch focus depending on current performance and priorities
  • Have an awareness and understanding of site performance and opportunity areas, and pragmatism to influence change

The Individual

We want your individualism, capability, and ambition to shine through. You will need to have a zest for learning and a willingness to be hands on in the role.

You will need to be a Graduate in your penultimate year of study. The best skills to have to be successful in this internship are:

  • Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • An eye for detail, with the ability to collate and analyse data with the use of Excel
  • An ability to adapt and proactively react to changing circumstances or requirements
  • Practical and process driven, with a “digital-first” mentality.
  • Some knowledge or experience of websites, UX and CRO
  • A results driven outlook that will support RSA to outperformance
