Job description

Having successfully secured funding to develop our internationally educated clinician recruitment programme we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and innovative nurse to join our team.

You will be a key contact for our clinicians, providing them with both clinical and pastoral support to ensure a successful transition to delivering care in the NHS. An integral part of this role is to ensure that there is an effective, efficient, and culturally sensitive pastoral service delivered to each clinician that joins Oxford Health. You will also support the international recruitment lead nurse to deliver OSCE and transition training to our internationally educated nurses.

You will be highly motivated, creative, committed to striving for excellence and passionate about supporting others. You will have strong communication and clinical skills and recognise the value of working collaboratively with our services.

  • To ensure an effective, efficient, and culturally sensitive service is delivered to support each internationally educated clinician recruited by Oxford Health.
  • To be the first point of contact for each internationally educated clinician within Oxford Health.
  • To manage the arrival, accommodation, and orientation of the international educated clinicians to both the local community and Trust.
  • Support the International Recruitment Mental Health Nurse Lead to deliver OSCE training to internationally educated nurses.
  • Provide OSCE support to international nurses who are preparing for their exam or resit.
  • Support Learning and Development colleagues to deliver transition training to internationally educated nurses.
