International Mental health Nurses
Location: London
Salary: £27,055 per annum (excluding London weighting)
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are taking applications from International Mental Health Nurses to work in one of the NHS Consortium's 27 largest NHS Trusts.
We collaborate with the Consortium and its related NHS Trusts in London and the surrounding areas. To guarantee that London has a sufficient number of highly experienced Mental Health Nurses to maintain the requisite high standards of service.

Job role and Duties
- Evaluate and talk to patients about their condition and the best way to plan and deliver their care.
- Build relationships with patients to encourage trust while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns.
- Ensure the right administration of medication, including injections, and monitor the results of treatment.
- Respond to distressed patients and try to understand the source of their discomfort.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to assist patients in managing their emotions.
- To assist the Senior Nurse in Charge in managing and coordinating ward activities.
Person Specification:
- At least 6 months of registered Mental Health Nursing experience
- Passed the NMC English exam requirements (IELTS or OET)
- Nurse and Midwifery Council registration - (application must be in process)
- Passed your Competency based Test (CBT) -
- RMNs that have previous experience in mental health setting
- Capable of working without supervision
- A thorough awareness of various mental health disorders
