Internal Sales Executive
We are recruiting for a new position within the construction industry. This role is suited to sales professionals seeking their next career development opportunity. In addition to a thorough induction and training program the company will put in place a 5 year professional development plan.
Supporting the external sales, technical and procurement teams this opportunity combines the disciplines of quote/tender coordination and internal account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales, capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads and maximise the potential for growth
- Present daily, weekly and monthly progress updates on sales pipeline
- Support the technical team on all estimating responsibilities
- Oversee the logging of all enquiries onto ERP system
- Assess incoming tenders
- Liaise with clients to verify the status of a project
- Assist with quotations
- Complete tender/bid/tender updates for pipeline meetings
- Getting ongoing updates on live enquiries, working alongside sales team members and, direct with customers
- Meet with Technical Manager & Sales Manager weekly to discuss live pipeline updates
- Build relationships with Tender and Estimating teams in customer and prospective customer sites
- Attend technical sales presentations or seminars with the sales team
- Management of technical library
Skills Required
- Experience of sales activity planning and account development
- Proven ability to develop an extensive understanding of customers and their needs
- Strong communications skills, including sales, negotiation, and presentations
- Evidence of a motivated and target driven individual with a proven track record in sales
- Proven Sales experience gained within the construction accessories sector (Desired)

Salary: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
