Would you like to join a high performing team of Internal Recruiters, responsible for the recruitment of Retail centre staff throughout the UK?
This permanent role will be based remotely with one to two days a week based onsite at our Glasgow office.
You’ll need a can-do, open attitude demonstrating agility, breadth of thinking and a desire to work as part of a successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an inhouse or agency recruiter to further their recruitment career on behalf of a true market leader within the automotive industry.
Skills & experience
- Experience gained from either an in-house or agency environment, ideally within the distribution or logistics sector
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A proactive approach to recruitment, able to think creatively to solve problems and provide solutions
- Confident user of IT, modern recruitment systems and processes, ideally Applicant Tracking Systems
- Great attention to detail, able to operate at pace and provide timely and clear updates to everyone involved in the process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, well organised and with great time management, able to work as part of a team or individually to achieve results
- A positive and professional approach is essential, passionate about recruitment, somebody wishing to make their mark within a market leading environment
Key accountabilities
- Be an ambassador for the brand, providing a first-class recruitment experience for both hiring managers and candidates
- Work closely with key internal stake holders and departments to understand their requirements before advertising & marketing their vacancies
- Selection of suitable candidates to shortlist for telephone interview by carefully matching them to the hiring managers requirements
- Conducting telephone interviews and advising hiring managers on suitable candidates to progress to next stage
- Following up on all further stages in the recruitment cycle, feeding back in a timely and professional manner, optimising candidate experience
- Guiding hiring managers and candidates through the full process including the raising and sending of employment offer
