Salary - £33,774 rising to £35,551 per annum plus an attractive benefits package

Job summary
Are you an experienced Internal Compliance and Finance Assistant looking for a new challenge?
We are looking for a proactive individual to assist and support the Assistant General Secretary (Finance and Internal Compliance) to ensure that all internal activities are carried out in compliance with relevant standards whilst also providing administrative support to certain overseeing committees and ensuring that financial data entry is kept up to date.
You will need to have significant experience of working in an administrative capacity, with strong IT, minute taking and data entry skills. Experience of working within a finance team is desirable but not essential.
Person specification
We are looking for a confident, approachable individual who is an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively and appropriately in writing and in person with a variety of audiences.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative, managing conflicting priorities in order to meet deadlines and problem solving when necessary. Strong attention to detail in order to deliver and maintain a high quality service and the ability to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality is essential for this role.
