Internal Auditor - Group

Norse Groups support services division deliver a combination of services with a number of back-office infrastructure support, including a professional Environmental, Quality & Compliance and Health & Safety (SHEQ Team).
Due to growth within our SHEQ department we have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join our team based at our Head Office in Norwich, on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role
Working alongside the Group Audit Manager you will support with the planning, preparation and delivery of the audit plan throughout the business, main responsibilities will include:
- Collating and analysing audit performance data
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, using this to implement policies, procedures and best practices
- Engaging with stakeholders across the business, providing guidance and expertise across audit compliance
- Supporting with the delivery and fulfilment of Group IMS Strategy
Our successful candidate
Whilst you will be auditing against ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 it would be an advantage for your experience to be more on 14001 with more knowledge in environmental aspects and impacts, alongside;
- Hold or working towards an IOSH / ISO Lead Auditor Qualification (or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 formerly OHSAS 18001).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating and influencing a variety of stakeholders
- Capable of delivering short-term and providing input into long-term strategy
- Full UK Driving Licence due to the travel requirements of the role
