NOW HIRING INTERNAL AUDITOR
Looking to immediately fill an internal auditor position. Position requires extensive travel and requirement for having own personal transportation. Will require overnight travel. Prefer previous C-store or retail experience in a management role. Previous inventory auditing experience with a major inventory service is a plus. Must be self motivated and willing to travel out of town, up two 2 full weeks per month. Position requires the ability to physically count retail merchandise, including use of ladders and electronic equipment.
The Auditor is a position that is critical to the success of the company. The most essential function of the auditor is to ensure all assigned store inventories are being accounted for properly.
The essential functions of the position are:
Maintains a general knowledge of the convenience store industry and is able to perform all necessary functions required for store operations.
Works with a sense of urgency to complete assigned territory audits, remaining positive and professional at all times.
Is self-sufficient and has the ability to dedicate the necessary amount of time required to accomplish each audit.
Has a valid driver’s license, and maintains a driving record that is insurable by the company
Has a personal vehicle that is in good working order, available for company use for long distance travel, is insured, and follows all applicable safety laws. (travel will include: Pueblo Area, Trinidad, Raton, NM, and Canon City Area.)
Is proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and can utilize various types of documents for the company as needed.
Understands that data integrity, its value to the company, and providing an accurate inventory count is of the utmost importance.
Is responsible for the overall accurate completion of retail and cost inventories for assigned territory stores.
Has advanced knowledge and understanding of inventory issues and troubleshooting.
Can perform complete and accurate cash audit at each assigned store.
Completes additional surveys and reports assigned by supervisor, including: out of stocks, skimmer check, atm paid outs, deposit verification, and store draft inventory.
Works directly with store manager to ensure accurate counts, including doing a walk through of the store and offering to do recounts, where deemed necessary.
Is responsible for maintaining current mileage and expense reports, scheduling appropriately to reduce travel and overnight expenses for the company.
Maintains all machinery and electronics provided by the company. Reports malfunction in a timely manner for repair.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
