Reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates and Campus Services - Facilities Management, we are looking for a solution-focused individual with significant experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating effective soft services strategies who will join our Facilities Management Leadership Team in the newly created role of Soft Service Facilities Manager.
You will provide Facilities Management leadership, within the areas of Clean, Security, and Ground Maintenance and support the strategic direction across the University, working closely with our Estates and Campus Service management team. This role has a direct impact on the student experience and helps us achieve our strategic goals, Looking after the look, feel and security of the Campus mean that this role directly impacts the student experience and without this role, we would be able to achieve our objective of improving the student experience.
To succeed in this role you will put the customer at the heart of everything you do, have a broad up-to-date knowledge of the soft service sector, and substantial knowledge of current legislation and good practices required to deliver these services within HED.
