About the role
As our Internal Account Manager you will deliver sales and margin performance in line with budgets, through account ownership for a specific cohort of customers. Providing regular and proactive contact, developing relationships, and ultimately growing and retaining customers in line with our strategic initiatives and proposition.
Key responsibilities include:
Achieving sales and profit forecasts in line with business forecasts
Proactively pursue new business opportunities to protect and grow market share.
Making regular and scheduled customer contact to a defined customer base
Managing allocated sales leads with customers in accordance with business process and SLAs
Utilising the pricing tool and market knowledge in order to deliver best possible margin growth
Developing and executing a call cycle plan that enables full customer/contact coverage
Collaborating with regional and sector sales colleagues to deliver the overall Arco sales strategy and gathering and sharing competitor information
Maintaining and updating customer and sales opportunity information accurately through the daily use of CRM
Managing customer accounts in accordance with Arco processes and ways of working
About you
The ideal Internal Account Manager will be/have:
A proven track record of success in delivering sales objectives and experience of virtual selling using telephone and video
The ability to build relationships cross functionally, working with central functions to deliver excellent customer service
Be commercially astute, with an understanding of margin, how it is calculated and its impact on the business
An excellent understanding of digital sales channels, social media and online performance management
Excellent IT skills/ CRM proficient, experience working with SAP C4C would be advantageous
Able to demonstrate key behaviours in line with our sales strategy and make things happen by showing drive and determination
Effective communication skills, with the ability to share views and ideas, and listen to those of others
Knowledge of health and safety related services, products and markets
