Graphic Designer Internship Program.
Safe Haven internship program provides undergraduates the platform to-gain work
experience and to prepare them for full time employment.
The aim of the programme is to equip the undergraduate with the necessary skills required
to enable them to build their Portfolio and will be given the opportunity to work on Safe
Haven and the SheInspires Magazine projects with guidance and supervision from their line
manager to make sure all work produced are done to industry standards.
Graphic Designer Internship Job Description
Graphic Design Intern is to design our in house magazine and produce content for the website, social media, public display, and other mediums. Create and maintain graphic design content for branded communications and marketing tools Assist in photo editing for website & other print materials.
This role is suitable for anybody over the age of 16 and seeking a career path in graphic designer.
You will be assisting the Chief Editor and will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in :
- Active listening and Communication
- Collaboration and Creatively
- Persistent and Conflict Resolution
- Design and Creatively
This role is a part-time role as is suitable for school leavers or those currently in education and looking to build their career in Graphic designer through hands-on training.
This is a remote job and will be required to have a laptop, computer, internet access, soft ware such as InDesign, Print Design and a mobile phone to communicate with Chief Editor.
This is a perfect opportunity for those looking for first time work as no previous experience is necessary.
Requirements:
- A good communicator (both written and verbally)
- Willing to learn Print Design, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Being proactive, positive and organized individual
- Able to prioritize efficiently
- Willing and keen to learn
