About the Role
We are looking for a Trainee Assistant Merchandiser on our International team to support the International Franchise Assistant Merchandiser in optimising the customer offer, sales, availability and profitability of you area of focus. In addition, you'll be responsible for maintaining Franchise Partner relationships and producing & collating accurate information to support the team in their decision-making process. You will need to work collaboratively with our Franchise partners and key internal departments (Buying and Merchandising, Marketing, VM, Logistics) contributing to deliver agreed KPI’s.
As a Trainee Assistant Merchandiser on our International team, you will be:
- Providing support and act as a key connection between our Franchise Partners and the wider UK business
- Supporting Franchise Partner calls, including capture of decisions and actions
- Supporting the International Franchise buying process working to the agreed critical path by coordinating with internal Buying & Merchandising teams and Franchise Partners to secure orders
- Owning the maintenance of the International range as a key document in the buying process
- Preparing, actualising and monitoring planning documentation on weekly and ad hoc basis including Intake Tracking, Option and Buy Plans, as well as other key data
- Supporting production of weekly Franchise sales and performance reporting
- Actioning International stock allocations as required in line with shipment forecasts, liaising internally within the International team and with UK stock placement
- Managing Franchise Partner query's including logging and managing queries to resolution with relevant departments
- Supporting the wider International Merchandising team in ad hoc tasks in order to achieve KPI's
