Larco Hospitality is looking for a creative, highly motivated junior interior designer to join our team! You will be contributing to all stages of project development at a junior level such as space planning, rendering, preparation of specifications, site measuring, preparing FF&E packages, project documentation, and filing.
As a junior designer, you will:
- Work as part of a design team on projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), base building finishes, lighting etc.
- Generate plans, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
- Contribute to multiple projects of moderate complexity from varying stages of completion within schedule and budget.
- Be proactive in researching and learning design elements required for project.
- Assist in pulling images and design idea together for presentation.
- Ensure designs meet code compliance
- Be self-directed and highly motivated
Position Requirements:
- Professional degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Is able to work independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $47,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
