Job Title: Interior Designer
Reports to: Owner, Senior Designer
Hours of Work: Full time. May be required to work some evenings and weekends
Wage Range: commensurate with experience
Position Summary:
ADM Design INC is a growing interior design, renovation and decorating company based the GTA. We take care to create a unique experience for each client, and we rely on our workforce to facilitate the amazing services we can provide. We are currently seeking an Interior Designer to assist our Senior Designer on interior design projects at our Friday Harbour and Newmarket locations.
Required Experience, Education, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 5 years experience in home design, project management
- Experience in Auto-Cad and/or Sketch-up required
- Sales experience
- Computer literacy essential
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Valid drivers’ license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to lift minimum 50 or more lbs required
General Duties and Expectations
- Attend in-home consults to vet and close new clients
- Accurately determine scope of work based on client budget – build confidence in ADM services and close sales.
- Prepare accurate quotes incl reasonable timelines for completion– email within 48hrs
- Take ownership of complete Design Process: drawings / sourcing / presenting following
- Corporate Process and Procedures
- Maintain regular communication with clients thru design process
- Follow ADM Design Process and Procedures
- Stay up to date with Product Knowledge
- Attend Industry Events
