Location: Newcastle

As an Integration Architect, you will:

  • Facilitate technical discovery and provide expertise based on the client specific environment

  • Define and design integration platforms and patterns for enterprise systems

  • Work with senior Client and Accenture stakeholders to gain required approvals for your designs

  • Be responsible for implementing industry and client best practices in all integration designs

  • Own technical implementation escalations, by troubleshooting issues, assessing risk, and mitigating findings throughout client engagements

  • Build trusted relationships with your client and internal stakeholders

  • Coach the development team to implement integration solutions

  • Contribute to the wider Accenture technology architecture community, identifying new technologies and approaches and forming opinions on where and when they could be applied


The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • Proven experience of leading the integration design & implementation on enterprise platforms

  • Proven experience of leading the technical implementation of integration platforms and patterns

  • Ability to collaborate with other members of a delivery team to achieve the best outcomes for the Client

  • Experience of implementing

    • Industry standard API Gateways

    • Event-driven architectures

    • Integration patterns (including on premise-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud) and related security patterns for the major cloud providers

    • Industry standard integration security patterns (e.g. OpenAuth2.0, SSO, TLS)

  • Experience working with Linux Operating Systems

Set yourself apart:

  • Demonstrate strength in documenting your solutions in a way that the varied audience can understand

  • Demonstrate experience across multiple industries and/or technologies

  • Have experience in working in an agile environment
